Disintergration Collaboration Unveiling

Well after a winter and spring of allowing my pages to be hung on the fence here is what I have made from the pieces. DisCo1

DisCo2

DisCo3
They are all pages from a condensed Reader's Digest and were sewn together and painted. As seen here they were left out through snow and rain and high winds and nature! hence the disintegration collaboration put on by Seth Apter.
This wonderful collaboration has brought so many artists from around the world together, all with mother nature in its many forms as the collaborator.

  7. Thanks for the positive comments! I wanted to originally make a book with the pages. I like the idea of prayer flags so haven't made a final decision on the final outcome.

  11. 1st i like how you hung your pages out to "dry"...along the fence and especially loved the winter in snow shot. A wonder they stayed on the line.
2nd i like the outcome, as a textile art quilter i appreicate the sewing of the parts and they came together in a lovely series of little art quilts!
